Teacher Development

The foundation is a leading force in teacher development programs. It is best known for training programs in basic education intended to meet the needs of preschool, elementary, and high school teachers. The major programs under this thrust are the How To Be A Highly Effective Teacher seminar series, The Many Faces of the Teacher, A Tribute to Teacher and the Society of Educators for A Better Philippines. The foundation also supports various teacher scholarships, recognition, and similar programs administered by educational institutions.

 

BBFI is also involved in a number of publishing projects that concern education. Since 1995, it has been publishing Quality Teacher, a magazine aimed at developing professional educators in their vocation.
